Across the street from Aquatic Park, this refined hotel in a restored warehouse is an 12-minute walk from Pier 39 and 0.5 miles from Alcatraz Island. Nautical-style rooms with exposed brick walls feature flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers and yoga mats. Suites add separate living rooms and whirlpool tubs, as well as views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay. Wi-Fi and in-room spa treatments are available for a fee. Kids 17 and under stay free with an adult. Amenities include an exercise room, and a seafood restaurant with patio seating.

Great location that is close to shopping, activities and a trolley station. It’s a family and pet friendly hotel. No microwave in the room and the walls are a little thin but the atmosphere, location and staff make up for the two little negatives.
