In a stately, 100-year-old building, this classic hotel is a 9-minute walk from Westfield San Francisco Centre mall and 0.9 miles from the Cable Car Museum. Bright rooms have hardwood floors, and come with separate sitting areas. All have free WiFi, flat-screen TVs and coffeemakers; some have minifridges. Upgraded rooms and suites add bay windows. There's an upscale bistro and bar. Other amenities include an exercise room, and freebies such as bike rentals, and afternoon coffee and snacks. Dog beds, water bowls and pet treats are available (fee).

From the moment we arrived, Brian took amazing care of us. He got us into our room early and was very kind and helpful! Rooms are small, but cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Bonus is that they give you 2 free drinks and a refillable water bottle that has a refill station in the lobby. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh! We would return!
