Set in the affluent Lower Nob Hill district, this quaint hotel in an ornate building is 3 minutes' walk from the Powell Street cable cars and 5 minutes' walk from the Union Square shopping area. Cozy rooms decorated in a plush, floral style feature French antiques, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Some have gas fireplaces or whirlpool tubs. Suites add private entrances, decks and minifridges stocked with complimentary drinks. Freebies include a full breakfast buffet, refreshments and an evening wine hour. There's a courtyard and a lending library. Valet parking is available for a surcharge.

La ubicación es conveniente, cerca de paradas de camiones y de unión square, sin homeless pero si te alejas unas cuadras se pone feo aunque no ha nada a que alejarse a esa zona. No tenía grandes expectativas, nos quedamos porque los precios subieron mucho y este nos pareció conveniente en las fotos. Se veía como un ante antiguo. Al llegar nos recibió el gerente y el checking fue súper rápido no es no te lo antiguo como pensé bueno si es pero ese es su estilo porque la verdad está muy bien cuidado por donde lo veas está limpio y se nota que le dan mantenimiento. Seguido simplemente mantiene su estilo francés y la verdad es que hasta resulta acogedor. El desayuno consiste en huevos cocidos, pan, cereal, avena, yogurt, jugo, café, agua, té y pan dulce que se sirven en el restaurante del hotel de a un lado, todo está muy rico, por las tardes hay una hora y media de vinos gratis con queso local. Las 24 horas encuentras café de chocolate en la salita del hotel. El gerente es muy amable y Francisco también lo fue. Todo nos gustó viajábamos con un bebé, la única cosa es que al mantener su estilo clásico pues no hay aire acondicionado, pero nuestro cuarto tenía una chimenea muy bonita y funcionaba y que el elevador literal también es así antiguo y es un poco mo Doh o complicado estarlo abriendo y cerrando en mi caso más porque traía a la Carriola o al bebé, pero aún así las veces que lo utilicé sin carga bebé. También fue un poco complicado porque tienes que detener la puerta de afuera y abrir la reja de adentro al mismo tiempo, y pues ambas son un poco pesadas ( y yo hago ejercicio) pero fuera de eso la verdad es que está muy cómodo y lo recomiendo ampliamente.
