What Guests Are Saying

4.5, really. Well loved and renovated building with a quirky BnB feel. Great location! 2 Bart stations within 6 minutes. 10 stars for cleanliness- the place is absolutely spotless. Great bed (from two very different and very picky sleepers) and quiet for the location. The "courtyard" is more of an alley between two buildings with a small tree, but is the move if you want peace and quiet. Hearing the trolleys during the day was also a treat. The breakfast was really well done and great as it's included in the price! Things are a bit dated, like the large desk instead of a two person sitting area and one lamp didn't have a nob to turn it on. They only have basic local cable (didn't even know that still existed) and no smart casting devices. However, the local staff is amazing and overall we had an amazing stay. It's not sleek or modern, but you can feel the love of the staff, care of the building, and newer renovations. If you want to keep your spending dollar with local SF folks who really reflect the heart of the city, this place is ready to welcome you. Check out the Bodega right across the street for sundries and snacks!!
