Set near the shops and eateries of Union Square, this trendy hotel is a 2-minute walk from the shared Powell Street cable car, the Muni Metro and the BART rail station. Modern rooms and suites with free Wi-Fi are decorated in earth tones, and come with iPod docks, coffeemakers and 42-inch flat-screen TVs. Some suites add separate sitting rooms with pull-out sofas. Room service is available. A lobby lounge offers colorful seating around a gas fireplace, while an adjacent Italian bar/grill serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Amenities include a 24-hour business center and a “tech menu” that allows guests to borrow or buy electronic accessories.

Had the most amazing week staying in the hotel. The staff were absolutely 10/10 so friendly, accommodating and helpful with information about local places to eat and do stuff. Evan and Edwin at reception in particular were stellar gentlemen. The only thing I would say is there is quite a few homeless folk and people on drugs around that part of city but the front door of the hotel is always locked and nothing at all happened to us while we were there. Great central location downtown, fantastic staff, definitely wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!!
