A minute's walk from the Powell Street cable car stop, this cozy family-run hotel built in 1913 in the Nob Hill area is a 4-minute walk from Chinatown and 5 minutes on foot from Union Square. Quaint, individually decorated rooms feature antique and wicker furnishings, Wi-Fi and cable TV, plus in-room sinks and shared bathrooms, some of which have claw-foot tubs. Upgraded rooms add private facilities, and some also offer bay windows. Continental breakfast is available, as are afternoon tea and cookies. Dogs are welcome for a fee. Minimum-stay rules may apply.

Cozy, clean place to stay. The room was quite comfortable, the bed was great, & the location was very walkable & came with a hearty breakfast. (There is also a hotel kitty named skittles who hung out with us in our room whom we adores). We will be back to stay again.
