This elegant, Edwardian townhouse in Nob Hill is a block from a California Street cable-car stop and Grace Cathedral, which is famous for its indoor and outdoor labyrinths. It's also 7 minutes from the Dragon's Gate in Chinatown. All rooms and suites have antique wooden chairs and brass beds, plus en suite bathrooms with gold taps; some rooms have claw-foot tubs. Suites add 1 or 2 bedrooms and kitchenettes. Complimentary afternoon tea and sherry is served in a genteel sitting room, and there’s free Wi-Fi in communal areas. Breakfast is available for a fee. The property also has a period elevator, although many rooms are accessed by stairs.
