Set in a former bank building dating from 1923, this refined hotel in the Financial District is across the street from a cable car stop and 13 minutes' walk from the shops and restaurants of iconic Union Square. Understated rooms with traditional furnishings and high ceilings feature Wi-Fi, 49-inch flat-screen TVs and iPod docks. Upgraded rooms add city views and coffeemakers, while suites have living areas with pull-out sofas; 1 has a whirlpool tub. Room service is available 24/7. There's an upscale steakhouse and an elegant bar, as well as a grand lobby lounge. Other amenities include a 24-hour gym, a business center and 9 meeting rooms.

The service at this hospital is absolutely exceptional. The Asian doorman (I forgot to ask for his name) went above and beyond to help with Uber etc. I felt terrible because I didn’t have a cash tip to leave, but I hope that the Omni management can commend him for making such an effort. In addition to that, even the reception staff, the room service staff, everyone was extremely helpful. Service aside, the location couldn’t be better. Highly recommend this hotel!
