Perched atop Nob Hill, this elegant, contemporary hotel on the cable-car line is 7 minutes’ walk from Chinatown and 10 minutes' walk from Union Square. The refined rooms with dark wood furnishings have high ceilings, free Wi-Fi, 37-inch flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffeemaking equipment. Some add private sitting areas and sweeping views of the city or bay. Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center and a business center. An on-site New American cafe offers local organic coffees and juices in the morning, and dinner and cocktails at night. An amenity fee covers loaner bikes, a device library and hot drinks. Parking is available (fee).

My wife and our dog stayed here for three nights. I used to live in SF. So it's always nice to come back and visit. I appreciated the central location. Their valet parking plan (which I don't think they offer any longer) was convenient and easy. Not worrying about a car, if you have one, in San Francisco is a gift. The room was beautiful, larger than I expected and even the "city view" was cool. The bath was wonderful. The real star here was the service, from the desk staff, to the valets, to everyone, every single person was delightful. They were friendly and helpful without being overbearing. All in all, we can't wait to visit again and stay at Stanford Court. We highly reccommend the property because we know, you will enjoy it.
